Course Description

OSHA 29 CFR 1910 requires certified Fork Lift Training. This course focuses on truck-related topics and workplace-specific subjects. There are several different types of fork trucks, the controls and functions are different from each other. This training covers the basic controls and operation. Workplace issues that affect pose danger to the people around are also discussed. Formal classroom education, practical hands-on driving and evaluation are a part of this course.

OSHA does require that every forklift operator be trained and certified to operate the powered industrial truck in the workplace, and that the operator's performance be evaluated on the provisions of 1910.178(l)(3) every three years..
