Course Description
The single most expensive asset for a public agency to manage is their roadway network. For that reason, agencies are increasingly relying on data-driven analytic approaches to determine the most effective way to spend limited funds to preserve the pavement condition while maintaining a high level of service to the traveling public. Implementing a comprehensive Pavement Management Program is one way to ensure success in managing the pavement network. This workshop will cover the following:
- What is Pavement Management?
- Why is Pavement Management Important?
- Components of a Pavement Management Program
- Pavement Management Implementation Challenges
- Implementation Lessons Learned
- Case Study
