The Traffic Control Supervisor course is a two-day advanced training course geared to the specific job-related duties of the supervisor. Critical lifesaving knowledge is passed on by experienced instructors who combine multimedia and group activities to solve real problems.

Upon completion of the course and passing a written examination, participants are mailed a certificate of completion from ATSSA. Training is good for 4 years. It will take 6-8 weeks for certificates to be mailed.

RETAKE TESTS if you do not pass the test the first time, you can do a retake test, by calling Utah LTAP to set it up with the Instructor.  The cost of the ATSSA retake is $109 and must be paid before the test is administered.

Please note:  Traffic Control Technician (TCT) is a pre-requisite for the TCS workshop.  You are also required to have had at least one year of work zone experience.

The Utah LTAP Center recommends that at least one employee from each city, town, county, or law enforcement agency complete the TCS training and certification.
