Course Description

This one-day classroom training covers: trenching safety, vehicle safety, vehicle maintenance, daily walk-around inspections, and pre- and post-shift inspection. This is a mandatory pre-requisite for the Heavy Equipment Operation Hands-On course and is good for 3 years.

NOTE: Students must have successfully completed this Heavy Equipment Safety Operations course in order to take the Hands-On training.

This course counts as 4 Utah DOPL-approved CEUs for licensed Contractors. (Additional fee applies.)
