Course Summary

Coaching the Maintenance Vehicle Operator is designed for experienced operators who understand the basics of handling their vehicles–whether they are dump trucks, loaders or other maintenance vehicles. The goal of the course is to prevent collisions and injuries by focusing on safe driving procedures that you, the operator, can realistically use in your daily driving. Obviously, not all situations that you will face can be covered here, but by learning and applying the defensive driving techniques presented throughout this course, you will take a major step in protecting yourself and others on the road. Your participation and input will be critical to the program’s success.
